The **Böker Barlow Prime Burlap Micarta 114942** is a classic slipjoint. A real traditional for daily tasks. These types of knives are popular amongst people who prefer carrying a larger pocket knife. Not because this knife is so big, but to carry it alongside a larger knife for the 'cleaner' tasks. Think of preparing a sandwich or peeling an apple.



The blade is made from O1. Not stainless, but like how they used to make it. Even easier to sharpen razor-sharp, which is a great advantage. Carbon steel also forms a patina in time. It changes colour because of fruit acids and moisture. That is why a couple drops of oil once in a while will keep it in great shape. Böker enhanced the blade with a coarse, etched stonewashed finish.


The handle is made from stunning burlap micarta. A strong composite material made from burlap and synthetic resin. A Böker shield with *Baumwerk* logo finishes the whole.



You open this knife with two hands and when opened the slipjoint makes sure the knife doesn't close when you don't want it to. Please note: it doesn't completely lock the blade like a backlock!
