Boska cheese boards: present your cheese in style
In Boska's range, cheese boards are not to be missed. We don't need to tell you that a cheese platter with a variety of cheeses is delicious as a dessert or with lunch. And let’s not forget that the serving board itself plays an important role, because it is the base of your platter. No matter which one you choose, you can’t go wrong with a Boska Holland cheese board.
Features of Boska cheese boards
When you hear 'cheese board', you might picture a wooden board. However, that is not always the case. In addition to the hard, sustainable oak cheese boards, Boska also offers cheese boards made from slate. An eye-catching and unusual way to present your cheese. And you're not limited to cheese. You can also serve tapas, bread or pizza with a Boska cheese board.
Boska cheese sets
You can make your life easier by purchasing a set in one go! You will have a stylish cheese board including one or more cheese knives. We offer a variety of sets, so there's something for everyone. Will you choose a classic wooden cheese board, or a slate cheese board? Rectangular, round, small or large? The choice is yours! Of course, cheese sets are also great as a gift!
Maintaining your wooden cheese board
Wooden serving boards often look amazing and are real eye-catchers in your kitchen. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that small cracks can develop. Bacteria can get stuck in these little cracks, which is not very hygienic. That's something you'll want to avoid! Fortunately, this is easy with just a little bit of TLC. Simply give the board a monthly treatment with Boska's cheese board oil to prevent scratches, smells and stains on your beautiful designer wooden cheese board.
Using a slate cheese board
The slate surface rests on non-slip rubber feet, so you won't cause any scratches. Slate is a nice, dark type of stone with a flaky texture. Even though Boska states that the slate board is dishwasher proof, we recommend washing it by hand. Some water and a bit of soap will be sufficient. The slate board cannot be placed in the microwave and you cannot use it as a cutting board. It's really meant to be used as a serving board.
